ASA’s first national event for the 2019 athletics season, the 2019 ASA Cross Country Trials, will take place on 19 January 2019 on the TUKS Sport Grounds in Tshwane.
The ASA Cross Country trials will be held to select the first ASA team that will represent South Africa internationally. From the results of the 2019 ASA Cross Country Trials, a team will be selected to represent South Africa at the 2019 IAAF World Cross-Country Championships on 30 March 2018 in Aarhus, Denmark.

KZN athletics will be represented by 7 athletes and given the results from the 2018 ASA cross-country champs, KZNA should put up another strong performance at the event. There are 4 athletes in the ASA preparation squad and will be supported by ASA for the event. The individual entrants will officially represent KZNA and will therefor be proudly supported by KZNA regarding their participation.

We wish all our athletes all the best for the event and we know they will make us proud at national level once again.
