1. KZNA 2025 RACE APPLICATIONS 

1.1.1    Event Organising Symposium is scheduled for the 27 July 2024 in Durban, venue and programme will be communicated before the end of the week. It is compulsory for race organisers to attend or send a representative per club, no proxy will be accepted. 

1.1.2    Clubs who have emailed their route measurement certificates in 2023/2024 do not need to email another copy to the office if there have not been any changes to the route but should there have been changes, please may the updated certificate be emailed along with the application.

2.1.2       KZNA League 34 – Hosted by Umzimkhulu AC at Vukelani Special School on Saturday, 20 July 2024. (See Flyer attached).  

2.1.3       KZNA League 9 – Hosted by Liv to Run AC at Liv Village Durban, onSaturday, 20 July 2024. (See Flyer attached).

2.1.4       KZNA League 27 – Hosted by Lindokuhle AC at eMondlo Stadium, on Saturday, 20 July 2024. (See Flyer attached).

2.2.1       KZNA League 4 – Scheduled by Manguzi AC at Kwazuma Kunyiyani (Thengani), on Saturday, 20 July 2024 has been postponed, new date TBC.

3.           ROAD RUNNING

3. UPCOMING KZNA EVENTS 

3.1.1    KZN 5KM & 1 MILE CHAMPIONSHIPS – will be taking place on Sunday, 21 July 2024.

3.1.2    ENTRIES – No entries will be accepted on the day. Pre-Entries close today, 16 July 2024. Manual Entries will be done on Friday, 19 July 2024 and Saturday 20 July 2024.

3.1.3    INCENTIVES – Additional Time Incentives have been added for Junior and Open Athletes, which will be communicated on a circular.  

3.1.4    CATEGORIES – A circular will be sent out with the clarification on the 40+.

3. CANCELLATIONS/POSTPONEMENTS/CHANGES (See updated fixture attached)

3.2.1    Savages 21/10km Challenge venue has changed to Kingfisher Canoe Club, Blue Lagoon.

3.2.2    KwaMashu Challenge had been cancelled.

3.2.3    Philani Dube Epilepsy Race has been cancelled.

3.2.4    Boardwalk Inkwazi Cares Runathon will be taking place on the 17 August 2024 at Boardwalk Inwazi Mall.

3.2.5    Park Square run will be taking place on the 6 October 2024 at Umhlanga.
