The 2019 ASA cross-country trials were held today in Pretoria. The trials was an invitational only event to select the ASA squad that will represent South Africa at the 2019 IAAF world cross-country championships. The 4 races were very competitive as expected, but KZN athletes did our province proud.

Janet Mbhele was the standout performer from KZNA, finishing 3rd in the senior women’s 10km race. We would like to congratulate her on the result and it bodes well for the athletics season ahead.
