The much anticipated 2021 KZN Athletics road-running & walking calendar has been approved and is now available for download. As usual it is jam-packed with events ranging from 5km fun-runs to the prestige Comrades marathon. We hope that you will find your favorites and support clubs that organize these events.

Kindly take note of the following:

1. South Africa is currently under lockdown level 1 regulations. This means that any mass event is limited to 500 participants and a maximum distance of 10KM. As a result, the approved calendar may be amended should the regulations not allow for races longer than 10KM.

2. KZNA will monitor the lockdown regulations and will liaise with clubs and members should there be a change. Any change will be guided by the National Ministry of Sport & ASA

3. As a result we advise athletes to confirm with clubs on the status of their respective races.
