The 2021 KZNA cross-country championships were held on the 14th of August at Hutchisonpark, Amanzimtoti. Despite short notice for the event and inclement weather on race day we can all give ourselves a pat on the back for a successful event. Over and above the weather we had to organize the event within covid restrictions. It didn’t always went smoothly, but the new normal for athletics events are slowly becoming part of our organized events.
BIG thank you to the organizing committee, Amanzimtoti AC, officials, time-keepers and most importantly our VOLUNTEERS for making this event happen. It takes a team effort to put these events together.
Thank you to our supporting sponsors, Ethekwini municipality & KZN dept of sport. We appreciate your assistance
To all the athletes, coaches and supporters, THANK YOU for adhering to our protocols.
CONGRATULATIONS to all the KZNA champions! If you did not medal, thank you for a great day of cross-country racing!
Apologies if we miss anyone in our appreciation, but thank you for your contribution
The ASA national championships are scheduled for 18 September also at Hutchisonpark. The KZNA team will be announced once released by the selectors.
