The 2021 KZN Athletics cross-country championships will be taking place on Saturday the 14th of August and will be hosted by Amanzimtoti AC at the Hutchisonpark sportsground, Amanzimtoti. With most of the KZN athletics calendar cancelled due to covid we are all looking forward to the event from an athlete’s perspective. Please take note of the following IMPORTANT information regarding the event:
- The organizers will STRICTLY observe covid protocols as per ASA guidance inline with the current lockdown regulations. Please follow event instructions to ensure we are compliant at all times
- The attached covid questionnaire must be completed and signed before registration will be accepted. We do appeal to athletes to be honest in their replies. If you had covid in the last 14 days, have been in contact with a covid positive individual or you are not feeling well on race day, please refrain from entering the event. Everybody’s health is our first priority.
- All athletes will be required to sign the register upon registration. Please ensure your contact details are correct. Should an athlete notify KZNA of a covid positive case within 14 days of the event we are obliged to identify and notify any close contacts
- NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED! Entries already closed on Wednesday the 11th of August
- NO SPECTATORS ARE ALLOWED WITHIN THE COMPETITION AREA!
- Attached is the FINAL PROGRAM. Please familiarize yourself with the race time of your event
- There will be no results put up at the venue. You can register on a whatsapp group via a QR code. See below the documents that can be downloaded. You only need to register via one group as both will publish the same info. We can only register 200 numbers per group
- See below the team lists and start lists. Please verify your information. Any incorrect info will be done at registration on Saturday.
