ENTRY FORM FOR 2012 / PLEASE NOTE THE CLOSING DATE IS 09 March 2012 COMPETITION RULES
1. All athletes must be registered with KZN Athletics and have a 2012 Permanent License Number. NO licenses or temporary licenses will be sold on the day of the championship.
2. Entries to the Championship are STRICTLY pre-entry and NO entries will be accepted after the closing date. Pre-entry closing date is Friday, 09th March 2012 by no later than 16h00. Only athletes that have participated in at least 2 of the league meeting(s) will be allowed to enter the championship. (Excluding Masters, where the event is an open championships)
3. A gate fee of R10 per person will be charged on the day. (Athlete’s & Spectators)
4. Athletes must be 16 Years Old or older on or before the 31st December 2012 (Born 1996 and earlier) to enter as Seniors and 30 Years Old (Born 16th March 1982 and earlier) to enter as Masters, to take part in the Championships, according to the IAAF Age Disparity Rule, in there 5 year age categories.
5. Masters Athletes MUST be members of the Masters Association to compete or you will be registered as a senior.
6. Athletes may not participate in more than 2 individual Track Events longer than 400m.
7. Athletes may not participate in more than 3 individual events in total, excluding the relay events at the championships. (if Offered)
8. Please note that the times of the championship is subject to change and where possible we will proceed faster than the indicated times. The Program remains PROVISIONAL until such time as all entries have been entered and finalized.
9. Athletes are advised to be report 20 minutes before the scheduled start of the track event to the starter and 20 minutes at the place of the participation for the field events. No entries will be taken at the events.
10. Athletes must participate in their official Club colours. NO KZN or NATIONAL Competition Kit will be allowed to be worn on the day.
11. Athletes must please wear your 2012 License Number on the back of your competition kit and the Competition Number on the front. (which will be available from the registration table on the day of the competition)
12. The meeting will be run under the rules of ASA and KZN Athletics.
